Koreodelirij / 2026

Koreodelirij
The research project Koreodelirij by Matea Bilosnić, Martina Tomić and Ana Mrak explores and cultivates the translation of multilayered phenomena of delirium, unconsciousness, fantasy, and supernatural beings into the language of dance and performance. The research centers on the body, which acts as a boundary between states of lucidity and delirium leading to an uncontrolled, unconscious realm where the real and the imaginary, the conscious and the unconscious, and the human and the supernatural intertwine.
In this process, the choreography unfolds as a form of hallucination, while the body becomes an archive of the non-human. The authors seek to develop a personal "bestiary", a bodily lexicon and compendium of supernatural beings that are the foundation for creating a specific dance vocabulary and developing the work further.
